STOCK DONATIONS:
Donations of appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or exchange-traded funds can have a large impact on HER CINCINNATI's mission, while maximizing potential tax benefits by avoiding tax on capital gains. IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER:
Supporters 70.5 or older with a traditional IRA are eligible to make a tax-free donation to HER CINCINNATI directly from their IRAs. These donations are tax-free, regardless of whether or not you itemize deductions on your tax return. If you are 73 or older and have to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), these gifts can count towards your RMD while being tax-beneficial. Contact your plan administrator to learn how you can make a gift from your IRA today.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS:
Donor Advised Funds Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are tax-advantaged charitable giving accounts. Any person, couple, family, organization/company can open a DAF account and make charitable contributions and grant recommendations to their preferred nonprofits either immediately or over time. DAF giving is the fastest-growing charitable giving tool because it offers donors a convenient, cost-effective way to manage donations while optimizing tax advantages. If you already have a DAF, you can give using the money you’ve already set aside without spending an additional cent!

VEHICLE DONATIONS:
HER CINCINNATI welcomes donations of vehicles (running or not) including cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, campers, off-road vehicles, planes, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and most other motorized vehicles.  Donating is easy, the pick-up is free, and your gift is tax-deductible.   CLICK HERE to learn more and start the process!
